Mike is a Sydney-based professional director who has more than 35 years’ experience in property, spanning valuation, asset management and advisory within New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific Islands and across Asia.
He has previously held senior executive roles at CBRE and was previously Chair of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Global Valuation Professional Group. Mike is an experienced non-executive director, currently serving on the boards of BWP Management Limited, Dexus Wholesale Property Fund and Healthcare Wholesale Property Fund. He was also previously a director of Kiwi Property Group Limited, retiring in June 2020.

Mark is a professional director and corporate adviser who has worked in the commercial property sector for the past 35 years. Initially working as a registered valuer, Mark’s background includes development management, project management and investment management. Mark was Managing Director of NZX listed Shortland Properties Limited from 1989 to 1999. He is currently Chair of Augusta Industrial Fund Limited, and is also an advisory Board member for Te Tumu Kainga, a trust administered by the Maori Trustee for the provision of affordable housing. Mark commenced a role as an advisor to the Tainui Group Holdings’ Board in August 2019 and transitioned to being an Independent Director of Tainui Group Holdings in April 2020.
Mark is a former director of Wellington Waterfront Limited, CentrePort Limited, as well as Australian property focused private equity funds which were established and managed by Grant Samuel. He is a past Chair of the NZ Hockey Federation.

Jason became the Centuria Group Joint CEO in June 2019 after previously leading Centuria’s Real Estate and Funds Management business. Jason was also a founding director and major shareholder in boutique funds manager Century Funds Management, which was established in 1999 and acquired by Over Fifty Group in July 2006. He is an Executive Director of Centuria Capital Group. In his role he is responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring the effective operation of Centuria’s real estate portfolio and funds management operations. Jason has extensive experience in the commercial property sector, with specialist skills in property investment and funds management. He is also a past President of the Property Funds Association (PFA), which represents the $125 billion direct property investment body in Australia and continues to serve on their national executive. Jason holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Commercial Law) from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Bryce went on to form his own company, KCL Property Limited in 1994, which merged its business with Augusta Capital in 2014. His property experience over the last 47 years includes; commercial, industrial, larger format retail and residential development and investment in New Zealand and Brisbane, Australia. In 2017, Bryce was awarded both a Chartered Accountants Fellowship and is a Member of the New Zealand Merit (MNZM) for recognition of his contribution to governance and philanthropy.

Prior to his return to New Zealand in 2014, Joel worked at Aviva Investors (London) where he worked his way from Analyst to Fund Manager and ultimately held the position of Senior Director – Real Estate. In that position, he was responsible for management of the £4 billion Aviva Life & Pensions real estate investment portfolio. On his return to New Zealand, Joel has worked at Panuku Development Auckland and was, until recently, the Head of Business Development and Project Director.

Luke joined Augusta in January 2016 from Chapman Tripp where he spent 8 years in the corporate team where he advised on securities laws (including for Augusta’s syndications), mergers and acquisitions as well as general commercial and corporate advice. Luke completed his studies at the University of Otago where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Chemistry). Luke’s role at Augusta is to oversee and advise on all legal aspects of the Augusta business.

Adelle joined KCL on a part time basis in 2004 while studying at The University of Auckland. In 2007 she joined the team in New Plymouth on a full time basis and is now the senior staff member there. She is responsible for overseeing the HR, Marketing, Investor Relations and IT functions at Augusta. She is the first point of contact for a potential investor wanting to know more about investing with Augusta or an existing investor with general queries.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago University and Masters in Property Valuation and Law from London City University. Prior to joining Augusta, Ben spent three and a half years with Stride Property where he was responsible for the strategic asset management for their property portfolio. Ben (previously Senior Asset Manager) is now responsible for leading the Asset team responsible for the New Zealand portfolio as well as the dedicated Fund Manager for Augusta Industrial Fund.

Will joined the Augusta Asset Management Team in April 2019 and will be managing a number of properties in Auckland, Hastings and Christchurch. This management will include monitoring the overall performance of the properties and communicating that with investors. Prior to joining Augusta Will worked at Robt. Jones Holdings Limited, where he strategically managed several Auckland CBD office towers and their numerous tenants. Will holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Otago.

Prior to Augusta, John spent 6 years with BP New Zealand as Development Manager overseeing their property portfolio and delivering new BP Connect sites across the country.
As an Asset Manager, John manages a portfolio across the upper North Island ensuring optimum performance of the properties and communicating that with investors.

Mark joined the Augusta team in January 2019. He has a background in civil and structural engineering, construction and project management. Prior to his return to New Zealand in 2017 he worked for PDS Group as a project manager delivering predominantly residential developments. Later during his return to NZ he worked for The Building Intelligence Group on a range of project sectors including commercial, education, local government and residential. Mark’s role as Project Manager will be working closely with the development team to successfully deliver development projects.

Jess joined the Auckland office in November 2017. She has an extensive advertising and marketing background including 4 years working alongside the Deputy Global Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi as an Account Director in their London office - as well as several other roles focused on brand, marketing, strategy and development. Jess has managed from agency side, some of the worlds most recognised brands including BMW and MINI, Kelloggs, Greenpeace, AXA, ABSOLUT Vodka, Glenfidich, PWC and L'Oreal. Jess’s role is focused on growing the Augusta investor database, public relations and devising and implementing a full brand, communications and marketing strategy.

Brendan joined Augusta in October 2016 following 5 years working in PwC’s Private Business and Financial Audit teams, where he also achieved his Chartered Accountancy. Brendan has worn many hats at Augusta, firstly setting up Augusta’s internal audit programme, then as maternity cover in a finance role, and now leads the technology practice in Augusta. Kerri joined Augusta in August 2016 after a long career in banking across the retail, rural and commercial sectors. Kerri facilitates Augusta Funds Managements and Augusta Industrial Fund's secondary sale market, working with investors to sell or purchase units in Augusta’s schemes as well as assisting investors with applications into new schemes and getting investors AML compliant. She is the first point of contact for an investor wishing to sell their unit in a Scheme, purchasing a unit or any change of details (change of bank account, trustees, address’ etc.)

Wendy’s background is in banking and finance, lending to property developers and commercial property investors in Wellington, London and Auckland. She joined the team in 2014 when Augusta purchased a property syndication business from Bayleys. Her role as Investor Relations Associate comprises liaising with investors with day to day queries and during new offers, processing applications for the AML legislation, offering support for secondary sales along with undertaking organisational project work. She also oversees some of the health and safety functions in the business.

Jess joined Augusta’s Auckland office in 2017 and is now positioned as Marketing Associate. Patrick joined the Augusta legal team after returning from four years in London with Davis Polk & Wardwell where he advised on a wide range of corporate finance transactions including a number of high profile cross-border acquisition financings. Prior to his time in the UK, Patrick worked in the finance team at Chapman Tripp in Auckland and was involved in significant property finance and capital markets transactions. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics) from the University of Otago.

David is the newest addition to the Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team working as an AML/CFT Compliance Manager. David has an extensive compliance and banking background including a recent role as a fraud analyst for Lloyds Bank in The United Kingdom. David is responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance policies and procedures meet the AML/CFT Act standard and will be assisting with onboarding of investors into our new schemes.

Katie’s position reflects her investor facing role within the compliance team both during and outside of the equity raise periods. This involves processing investor applications and ensuring that Augusta meets its compliance obligations under the AML/CFT Act. Often your first point of contact for any AML related queries, she works closely with investors to meet Augusta’s due diligence requirements of the act. Katie joined the Augusta team as a temp in June 2016 and was employed on a full-time basis in July 2017.

Mark joined Augusta in 2018 following Financial Controller roles at Airwork and Property for Industry. Prior to this, Mark spent five years in the institutional banking client coverage team at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Mark is responsible for financial reporting, compliance and treasury management for the Augusta Funds Management portfolio. Mark is a graduate of the University of Auckland and obtained his Chartered Accountancy whilst working in the tax division at PwC.

Nick has most previously been based in London as a Fund Controller at Tristan Capital Partners, a boutique Pan-European Real Estate Fund Manager. During his role at Tristan, he managed the finance operations for several real estate funds across EUR 2.5bn of institutional equity with EUR 6bn of assets under management. Nick holds a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Diploma in Arts qualifying from Massey University Albany.

Samantha obtained her Chartered Accountancy whilst working at Deloitte in South Africa and UAE before immigrating to New Zealand, where she joined the Audit and Assurance division at EY. Jasmine joined Augusta in October 2016 as the executive Assistant to Mark Francis, Managing Director. Her role involves assisting Mark and the senior management team with day-to-day activities, and managing general office operations across a variety of functions and projects. Jasmine also works as an internal project coordinator using her skill set in organising people and process to provide support and a key pivot for new acquisitions and projects for the senior management and development teams. She has over seven years’ experience in the property sector, including having worked as an executive assistant and facilities manager for Robt. Jones Holdings Ltd previously.
